What does it mean to identify as Transgender or Gender Non-Conforming (TGNC)? is a course offered by the University of Minnesota.
In this course, students will be exposed to different concepts regarding gender.
Such concepts include gender identity and the general nature of gender itself.
Gender affirmation will also be discussed, along with the changing social dynamics surrounding the rise of transvisibility in the last decade.
Students will be taught about the unique obstacles that are faced by transgender and gender non-conforming people, along with developing the skills to foster inclusive and welcoming spaces for such people.
